Dec. 1: Let your child choose a word and think of words that rhyme.
Dec. 2: As you read, see how many times your child sees the first letter of her first name.
Dec. 3: Read an alphabet book together.
Dec. 4: Read a "Mother Goose" story together.
Dec. 5: Make up a silly rhyming song.
Dec. 6: Sing a song together like "Frosty the Snowman."
Dec. 7: Enjoy Frost Fest activities in town and at the library.
Dec. 8: Select a gentle, quite book and read it together someplace cozy.
Dec. 9: Pick a favorite rhyme to recite with your child.
Dec. 10: Play "I Spy" -- How many green things can you spot?
