Go West Giveaway: Family Passes to Santa's Village AZoosment Park in East Dundee

Here's the gift for you, readers: I have two "family four-packs" to give away to Santa's Village AZoosment Park in East Dundee. Each set of tickets is worth $71!
I'll tell you what you need to do to enter this giveaway in just a bit, but first of all, I need to tell you a bit about Santa's Village.
For those of you who grew up in Chicagoland, you might remember Santa's Village or the somewhat similar Kiddieland. Santa's Village was a theme park that operated in East Dundee from the 1959 until about six years ago. It was built to look like a child’s fantasy of a place where Santa Claus might live, and some of the rides and attractions had a North Pole or snow and winter theme.

The owners also have a Marengo-based entertainment company called A Zoo to You, and so the re-opened (and renamed) park also includes a number of animal attractions, as well as a few rides rescued from the now-shuttered Kiddieland.
My preschooler and I went to the park last summer with a friend and her daughter, and we had a great time. You can read a detailed account of my experience here. But just to give you a quick idea, the park offers carnival rides for smaller children; a petting zoo; a walk-through aviary; pony rides; horse sleigh ride; exotic animal show, a live magic show, game show, etc.
There is a picnic pavilion (you can bring your own food) and picnic tables throughout the park. Concessions are available at several locations.
The park's schedule varies a bit, especially once summer is over, but through August it is open every day but Tuesday.
Admission is $17.75 per person (adults and children 3 years and up.) Seniors are $14.75 per person, and children 2 and younger are free. The admission price allows for unlimited rides, and during our visit last summer with my ride-happy daughter, it was nice not having to ration tickets. Discounts are available if you go later in the day, and there are family and group packages, too. Parking is free.

OK. So now for details on the giveaway. It begins now and will end Tuesday, July 17 at 6 p.m. Central time.
You can enter the giveaway in any or all of the ways below. Please remember to post one comment per entry so you can have more chances to win. Also remember to leave your email so we can contact you if you win; we’ll use random.org to pick two winners – each winner will receive a pass good for admission for a family of four. (The passes expire at the end of this season, which is Oct. 28, 2012.)

- Share this post on your favorite social media site, and get an additional entry. Please include the link in your comment, and get an additional entry for each share.
- Tell a friend of neighbor about Go West Young Mom and urge her to check the website out for all sorts of fab family activities this summer. Just leave the initials of the friend you told (either by email, text, phone or in person - we're flexible) in a comment. You can earn up to three extra entries, by telling three friends. Just leave a separate comment for each friend so that you get all your earned entries.
Here’s the fine print: No purchase necessary. Offer subject to availability. Offer does not apply to previously purchased tickets to Santa's Village. Promotion cannot be combined with any other offer. Tickets are not transferable.
Contest will end on Tuesday, July 17, at 6 p.m.. Winner will be picked at random by random.org. Open to U.S. residents 18 and older. Tickets will be mailed to the winner. Prize is valued at $71.
Remember, you MUST leave your email (in the "optional" email field) and at least your first name. We’ll use random.org to pick two random numbers and the comments coinciding with those numbers will be the winners.

Well let's see, my oldest LOVES the Ferris wheel (funny thing I do too since I was a little girl, but he doesn't know that), for my four year old girl has to be the Merry go around :), and for the twins?, well the vroom vroom as they call those little cars that go around and around ;) thanks!
