Fall Guide 2012: Trick-or-Treat Hours in Chicago's Western Suburbs

Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at 6:15AM With the big day just a week away, here's a list of area suburbs and villages and their official or suggested trick-or-treat hours, which are all on Wednesday, Oct. 31. In a few cases, I’m still trying to track down the hours (noted with an N/A). If your town isn’t on this list, please send it to editor@gowestyoungmom.comand I’ll be glad to add it!
Aurora: 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Batavia: 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Campton Hills: 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Elburn: N/A
Elgin: 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Geneva: 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Gilberts: 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Hinckley: 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Maple Park: 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Montgomery: 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Naperville: Naperville has no ordinance regulating trick-or-treat hours, but the Police Department recommends young children end when it begins to get dark and older children end by 8 p.m.
North Aurora: 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Oswego: 3:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Plano: N/A
South Elgin: 3 p.m. to 7 p.m
St. Charles: 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Sugar Grove: 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Sycamore: N/A
West Chicago: 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Wheaton: 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Winfield: 5 p.m.to 7 p.m.
Yorkville: 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

I know this is late notice, but trick or treat in downtown Geneva at the stores is Thursday, October 25th from 2pm to 5pm.
Thanks, Shari! I actually did a separate post on the various downtown/business district/mall trick-or-treat events. Glad Geneva had such warm weather yesterday!
